Všetci sme hákliví na urážky, no 34-ročnú Betsy práve tie naštartovali k tomu, aby zabojovala s extrémnou nadváhou. Na Facebooku objavila komunikáciu medzi manželom a jeho milenkou, kde sa spoločne z Betsy vysmievali a nazývali ju tučnou chuderou. Jej príbeh je však pekným príkladom toho, že aj z negatívnej situácie sa dá vyťažiť niečo dobré. Dokonca aj z poznania, že vás manžel podvádza.

Betsy ani v detstve nepatrila medzi štíhle dievčatá, s dietovaním začala už ako 13-ročná. Asi práve to jej pokazilo metabolizmus a tak začala postupne priberať. 118 kilogramový vrchol dosiahla po pôrode. Pri dcérke sa prejedala a keď maličká Isabelle dosiahla polroka, prišla na to, že má manžel milenku. Bolo to pre ňu zdrvujúce zistenie, no nezačala sa ľutovať. Spoločne so sestrou sa pustila do boja s vlastným telom. Obmedzila sladkosti, zmenila stravovacie návyky a cvičí šesťkrát do týždňa.

Teraz váži okolo 72 kilogramov a vyzerá naozaj skvele. Okrem krajšieho tela nadobudla opäť sebavedomie a v duchu ďakuje, dnes už bývalému manželovi a jeho milenke, za nepríjemný budíček. Podľa jej slov by sa bez takej silnej facky od života asi nikdy nenaštartovala a naveky by sa ľutovala. Betsy nesmie ostať v kúte, bola by jej škoda.

I was looking through my pics and realized these two pictures were taken in the exact same spot 3 years apart 😦 it's one of the most exciting and scariest things to think that one year from this moment your life could be completely different than it is today. I think the scary part is we think we have no control over life but to a certain extent that is just not true.
